This time, 30 students will benefit from the program.
Tammy Tumbling, who is director of philanthropy and community involvement, says that it is important to encourage high school students to pursue college studies. This will be more likely to happen if they know that they can have access to a scholarship. Edison International is precisely working on this objective.
According to Tumbling, it is a $1.2-million program for high school seniors who want to start a career in science, technology, engineering or math.
